Examples

1. Patient with insurance needed an CT with contrast. Retail price from several local hospitals was 10,844.  We negotiated a total pre-visit cash price of $550, lower than the patients co-pay an deductible. We also assisted the patient with filing this cost with his insurance for reimbursement.
2. Patient with insurance needed gallbladder removal surgery.  Lowest retail price was $40,450 from local hospital.  We negotiated a total pre-visit cash price of $6,984. We also assisted the patient with filing the necessary forms to file a claim with his insurance for reimbursement.  Patient also received royalty compensation because he saved the insurance company as well as his employer over $7,000.
3. Patient without any insurance was pregnant and asked us to help her negotiate the delivery cost.  We negotiated with four local hospitals with prices ranging from $24,678 to $41,743.  We negotiated a total pre-visit cash price of $8,894 for both delivery and newborn care.
