Past Audit Findings                                 

  1. Following a heart attack, patient received 2 stents.  The patient was charged for 200 stents resulting in being overbilled by $465,000.00
                               
  2. Hospital charged $13,788.54 for doctor’s services.  The doctor’s actual charge was $1,266.  Hospital fraudulently overbilled patient $13,788.54
  3. Patient was admitted into the hospital for pneumonia.  Hospital’s charges included $1,577.00 for anesthesia and $8,785.00 for surgery services.  Overbilled $10,362.00
  4. Following cancer treatment, a Vietnam Veteran had medical bills totaling $86,894.00.  We intervened and was able to get his medical bills to $0.00 saving this American hero over $86,894.00.  He was finaly able to retire the next day
